What work was carried out?
Engineers carried out unblocking work on three manholes, all of which were blocked. We used high-pressure water jetting to clear blockages, then used gully grabs to remove large debris that was blocking the pipes.
Engineers conducted a comprehensive CCTV drainage survey to ensure the pipes were clear and in good working order, followed by a written report for the school.
Were there any challenges?
As this job was on a primary school site, our engineers faced the challenge of maintaining a safe environment while working with children present. To resolve this problem and keep children safe, engineers placed barriers around manholes to ensure safety.
