Drain relining is a method by which repairs are made to broken drainage pipes and flow is restored to the drainage system once more. To carry out drain relining a drainage technicians will use a fibre glass sleeve and insert it into the drainage system where the pipe is damaged. Once the sleeve is in place it’s then pumped full of air, making it expand and compress against the inside of the drain wall. After a few minutes the sleeve is removed from the drainage system leaving a nice smooth repair on the inside of the pipe. The fibre glass will prevent the drain from leaking and make the drainage system fully functional again.
